All Come The Little Children

I have to tell you a story about what happened on the beach one day

There were around 100 kids from Durham at the beach. They just happened to be black. I was siting in the water with Maleka and several of them just saw another black kid and thought we were with their group so they came running over and plopped down. But….. When they looked at Maleka close and realized she was blind and had a ton of scars they froze and just stared . So I spoke to them and asked them their names. One by they one the questions started coming, ” whats wrong with her eyes, can she hear, what happened to her legs, can she talk….” I answered each question and some would run off yelling for their friends saying ” Omg!! Come see this girl she’s blind and she was burnt in a tub!!” It amazes me how kids love to hear her story. One of them even asked me to show them that she could walk so Maleka jumped up and started walking, lol. She told them she likes Dora and we both shared how she sings and we travel sharing Jesus and how Jesus loves everybody no matter what and that everybody who has a pulse has a purpose. It was funny because I told Jordan I’m going share Jesus with that group of kids today you wait and see. Jordan and John had gone for a walk when this happened and as they were coming back Jordan saw the huge crowd gathered looking down and he told John, ” Well there’s mom! She was right, she’s sharing the gospel.” I’m pretty sure they will remember Maleka and I pray it changed the life of at least one child that day. You just never know.
